A space for honest grief, deep healing, and learning how to rebuild a meaningful life after loss
There is a place where grief and hope can exist together.
This blog was created in that space.
Where Grief and Hope Meet is for widows who love God, yet still wrestle with deep loss. For women who trust Him but sometimes wonder why moving forward feels so hard. For hearts that long for peace, clarity, and joy again… without guilt.
Here, you don’t have to rush your healing. You don’t have to “be strong.”And you don’t have to pretend you’re okay when you’re not.
This blog is a collection of reflections, encouragement, and guidance for widows navigating life after loss—emotionally, spiritually, and practically. Some posts will meet you right where you are in the heaviness of grief. Others will lovingly invite you to imagine what healing, purpose, and renewed joy could look like in this new season of life.
You’ll find writings about:
Loneliness and emotional overwhelm
Faith when life no longer looks the way you prayed it would
Identity after the loss of your spouse
Guilt around living again
Learning to trust yourself—and God—as you move forward
These topics are just examples of this evolving blog.
Above all, this is a place of permission:
Permission to grieve
Permission to hope
Permission to live again, in your own time and in your own way
I believe grief does not mean your life is over. And hope does not mean you’ve forgotten the one you lost.
If you’re here, you’re in good company. And you don’t have to figure this journey out by yourself.
Welcome to the place where grief and hope meet.
Until next time, may you be held by God in the midst of your grief
and met by hope when you least expect it.
